Tree work in conservation areas will have to be authorised by your local planning department. If your tree has a tree preservation order on it then restrictions will apply. Special Branch 247 will arrange to look into this for you at no extra cost to put your mind at ease. Unauthorised work carried out on any tree may lead to a £20,000 fine.

At Special Branch 247 we put great care into the scientific aspects of tree surgery. All members of staff are trained to a minimum level of 2 years NPTC training at Merist Wood college, to fully understand the correct working codes of the theoretical and practical sides of tree surgery.
